Registration and login are required to submit items online and to check the status of current submissions.

Author Guidelines

All written works submitted to the Journal of Medical Physics and Biophysics should be in adherance with the Guideline Set. Authors can alternatively download a MS Word .docx format template in ensuring that their writing format complies with JMPB's standards.

Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.

1. The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
2. The submission file is only in Microsoft Word document file format. Submission in PDF format will not be acknowledged or processed.
3. Where available, URLs for the references should have been provided.
4. The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Guidelines Set, which is found in the Journal homepage for download.
5. All references must be verified. Use citation generator software whenever possible (e.g. Mendeley). For citation format, follow those of AAPM's Medical Physics journal.
6. If submitting to a peer-reviewed section of the journal, the instructions in Ensuring a Blind Review have been followed.
